Anthony Perrone MD

Anthony Perrone, MD, graduated from Dartmouth College in 2005 with degrees in both medicine and business administration after studying simultaneously at Dartmouth Medical School and the Tuck School of Business. He also spearheaded the creation of the MD/MBA degree program and maintained active memberships with the student government and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Later, Anthony Perrone, MD, studied plastic surgery through Harvard University and the University of Rochester completing fellowships at both. He went on to positions as a plastic surgeon at the Tufts Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, and the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.

A resident of Augusta, Maine, Dr. Anthony Perrone now serves as the chief plastic surgeon for the Department of General Surgery at Maine General Medical Center. His responsibilities, in addition to leading a team of care providers, range from performing general and aesthetic surgery to hand and upper-extremity procedures. He also provides functional and reconstructive care to patients with a variety of conditions, such as traumatic injury and congenital issues.
